Mass effect 2 lazarus project bonus powers12/29/2023 ![]() ![]() Gameplay Combat mechanics Battling a heavy mech The game was later included in the enhanced 2021 compilation Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This comic was also released for other platforms as paid DLC. Because there was no way to play the original Mass Effect for the PS3 at the time, the game included an interactive digital comic, titled Mass Effect: Genesis, which details the game's backstory and allows players to make key plot decisions (which is then applied to the player's created character). The PS3 version of the game, released a year later, enhances the graphics engine while including numerous DLC for free. The gameplay in Mass Effect 2 is significantly redesigned compared to the first game, including the ability to interrupt conversations via renegade and paragon actions, a completely revamped inventory system, automatic health regeneration (as opposed to requiring the use of medigel), and an improved combat system that includes facilitating cover, as well as altered class development options.Īs the game is a direct continuation of the first one, it supports the ability to import completed savegames from the first game, transferring Shepard's appearance, background, and morality score while integrating most plot decisions (to maintain continuation) and giving bonuses to both experience points and credits. It has been positioned as the dark second act of the original trilogy. Along the way, Shepard must assemble an elite inter-specie team from the dark, seedy underbelly of the galaxy, and prepare for what appears to be a suicide mission. Set two years later after the events of the original Mass Effect, players control Commander Shepard as they team up with Cerberus, a human supremacist organization that resurrected them after their violent death from an unknown force, to investigate why human colonies are being abducted. It was later ported to the PlayStation 3 on January 18, 2011. Mass Effect 2 is a third-person sci-fi third-person action-RPG developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for the Xbox 360 and PC on January 26, 2010. That’s why I always recommend investing a little bit into premium antivirus software that includes protection against all types of malware - with extra features like a virtual private network (VPN), dark web monitoring, and a password manager ( Norton 360 has all of these features, is ranked as the best antivirus software for 2023, and is very affordable). Things to do in st louis in november 202112/28/2023 ![]() ![]() TCM also shows their entire sinkhole collection and history of everything. The Museum has a wonderful collection of corvettes over the years. Also the cafe was closed (closes at 3p) when we went and I was looking forward to doing that too but they weren't open. We didn't get to see the private collection, and I wish they had some sign at the check-in desk that have the hours of when they are open. Overall, it was a good way to waste a few hours of my day, enjoyably.Īlso, I met two awesome folks from PA during the tour and got my picture with them, however I forgot their names, if you two guys are reading this, feel free to follow me on here and I'll try and find a way to get in touch! There's "Wine Tasting" but no one was in there when I went in so, can't give you details on that, sorry! The gift shop was mediocre, mainly books about stuff other than the president. But it was a very nice day out so walking around and looking at old buildings was kind of relaxing.Īs for what there is to look at, it's mainly Andrew Jackson's house with a few buildings you can walk into but there's not much in them and they're very small, I believe they have an event we're they play some older sport. The price, in my opinion, was hefty for a little piece of history, coming in at $24 per adult. The walk around the whole area was pleasant, and there's even a horse carriage ride you can take, don't know if you have to pay as I didn't take it. The tour was straight to the point, didn't take forever either, maybe 30 minutes. Enjoy and definitely Good Luck! You'll need it, Lol. However, this one will definitely grow on you. In all, we enjoyed this visit but I still miss my Wisconsin favorites. I seen quite a few on this trip and they seemed quite happy and talkative. ![]() I recommend you check out their website to see all the options and entrainment available to anyone traveling with young people. The areas for those not able to gamble was open and they had plenty to do to keep them busy. Great selection of slots but still like all the other casinos, they are very tight. They still have a mix of virtual table machines but the balance was much better than a lot of other out of the way casino resorts are going. This place still has plenty of real table games(it's nice have a real human for a dealer). Medium with no seasoning only salt and hint of cracked pepper. The main Restaurant was superb, my Steak couldn't have been cooked any better and exactly as I requested. The Food court has gotten back into it's groove and the options are plentiful and given a 4 Day 3 night stay we had tried just about everything with no complaints. Masks are encouraged but not Forced on you. Much better atmosphere than my visit back in November 2021. For as limited of things to do here, it is very difficult to get them all in because of their schedule and the wait times. The animal show also gets pretty full and only had 3 shows a day. Getting there at least 30 minutes before the show is a must. The mermaid show has a long line and it fills up as well. The line was such that the last boat was filled by 11:00 and those waiting had to wait for an hour and a half to ride the 20 minute ride. Everyone was working hard, just too many people for too small of a place.Īs for the rest of the park, be aware that each of the attractions has limited times. Food took forever, it appeared that the restaurant is just not big enough to handle the lunch crowd. ![]() The only vegan items were a salad that they were out of and pita chips and hummus, which they were also out of. ![]() So I am posting it for anyone who may need it. It was no where to be found, the park couldn't even tell me. I tried unsuccessfully to get the menu for the parks concessions prior to going. ![]()

Trex racing through traffic12/28/2023 ![]() ![]() What Was The Fastest Dinosaur? Tyrannosaurus Rex Hunting Strategiesĭifferent Prey at Different Ages: Young T-Rex has a much less powerful bite than fully grown Adults. There is still disagreement on whether it was an ambush predator or chased, albeit slower than first thought, their prey down. (we will write a larger article on these later.). We will highlight the main ones briefly below. There are almost as many theories abound how an d what a tyrannosaurus ate as there are und how fast could a trex run. We go into more detail below in our “can you out run a T-Rex” section How did T-Rex catch Prey ![]() ![]() However if the best speed of a T-Rex while running was about 12 miles an hour, then can people run faster than that and the answer is that most people can. The article above actually goes into much more detail on how fast the fastest dinosaur was likely to be, spoiler alert it isn’t the T-Rex How fast can people runĪs we mentioned above and below the average walking speed for a human is between 3-4 miles an hour or 5-6 kph) T his is actually comparable to what is now thought to be the average walking speed for a T-rex of 3 miles an hour or 4.6 km an hour. Research has shown the T-Rex moved much slower than previously thought. These virtual simulations created a model of a T-rex tail to judge how fast a T-Rex run and walks working out how the tail affects how its walking and running ability. Dinosaurģ2 miles an hour (they clocked it at that) it also has lowered its average walking speed of a T-Rex to that of a human at around 3 miles an hour the average according to healthline. It has the maximum T-Rex running speed of 12 miles an hour or around that. Research in The Netherlands of that T-Rex Tail we mentioned above has the the answer to the question how fast could a T-Rex run. Like a lot of predators they may have relied on ambush tactics or even toe to toe or tooth to horn fights with their prey when they were fully grown As research has shown them to be preety slow when fully grown. It is clear from recent research that T-Rex were not zippy fast predators. This was quite a stretch even at the time as an ostrich at top speed is approaching 40 to 50 miles an hour!īefore the recent research form the Netherlands it was thought that a Tyrannosaurus Rex would have been able to run up to 25 to even 30 miles an hour even when fully grown. Years ago T-Rex was compared to ostriches, particular their legs and assumptions were drawn that a T-Rex run at a comparable speed to these fleet footed birds. ( Jurassic World and parks mostly are guilty of this) But the actual speed of a T-Rex was thought much lower even at the time these movies were made. Movies have shown us them running down jeeps, people and cars. ![]() However one of the most argued claims was how fast could a T-Rex run. The list is much longer than the examples we give above. It is the most famous of all the dinosaurs and has therefore had a lot of time spent researching, and lets be honest guessing both what it looked like and what it could do. The T-rex is perhaps the dinosaur that has had to reinvent its self the most of all the dinosaurs. We will look at the results and anwer the question how fast could a T-Rex run below. Research from the netherlands have virtually constructed, really, a Tyrannosaurus Rex tail to judge its movement as it walked and they had some surprising results on how fast a T-rex could walk as well as run. ![]()

Rec tec grills worth12/28/2023 ![]() ![]() Scrape the cooking grates with a grill brush. The video below shows you when the brisket is done properly. In our experience here at Angry BBQ, our briskets are usually ready to be pulled from the smoker between 202°-205☏. The consensus is that brisket needs to be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 190☏ and shouldn’t be taken past 210☏ as a maximum. The proper brisket temp isn’t exact, however. However, we know when meat is done cooking when it reaches the appropriate internal temperature. We want to know approximately when food will be done, sure. When anyone talks about smoking barbecue or grilling, it’s not about a specific length of cook time. What’s The Best Brisket Internal Temperature? Question: Is 180 A Good Smoking Temperature?.Question: Why Is My Brisket Tough At 200 Degrees?.Why Do Different Pitmasters Recommend Different Temperatures?.Why Does My Brisket Internal Temp Stop Rising?.Why Should We Smoke Brisket To Break Down Connective Tissue?.What Is A Brisket And Why Is It So Tough?.Why Do We Cook Brisket to a Higher Temp Range?.Is The Internal Temp Of Brisket The Best Way To Know When It’s Done?.What’s The Best Brisket Internal Temperature?.You need to know which brisket internal temperature you’re looking for, when to pull it off your smoker, what the brisket will be like if it’s undercooked or overcooked, and even a bit of insight as to why pitmasters seem to disagree on what is the actual best internal temperature for brisket. It takes time, patience, and practice, but it’s well worth it. If you want to take on a brisket in your own backyard, don’t fear. That’s why we give a temperature range rather than a specific temperature and certainly why we don’t give you a cook time. This transforms the brisket, which was a hard-working muscle when the cow was alive, from a tough piece of meat to that beautifully tender, smoky cut beloved by so many. Beef brisket is properly done when the muscle’s connective tissue has rendered and broken down. While a range may seem like a cop-out when trying to answer the best internal temp for beef brisket, there’s good reason for providing a range. You achieve that tenderness by smoking the brisket low and slow until an internal temperature in the 192°-208° range. When you cook to the proper internal temperature for brisket, that large and tough cut of beef becomes an icon of barbecue that is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Tor brazzers passwords12/28/2023 ![]() But I see no reason for why the first case I presented should be forbidden. This does create a bit of a connundrum - where you often can't tell if parallel construction was used to cover for legal, or for illegal behaviour. Now, if the plains-clothes officer was doing warrant-less break and entry in order to observe you doing the crime, that would be an ethical problem. I see no reason why the uniformed cop should be compelled to reveal his source. The purpose of the poisoned tree doctrine is to prevent the police from committing crimes as part of their work.īut if a plains-clothes police officer sees you load a kilo of cocaine into your car every Tuesday, on the same street corner, there's nothing illegal or immoral about him telling a uniformed cop to show up next Tuesday, to observe you doing just that. The purpose of laws like the 4A is to prevent the police from harassing innocent people by going on fishing expeditions. You can still hide the content of communication using PGP-style strong encryption, but even then, it's likely that keys could be compromised in some manner. There doesn't seem to be any way for two anonymous parties to find and connect with each other across tor in this manner however, without having some other side channel to coordinate time and place and exchange identifying information. ![]() The device was used for no other purpose, never turned on and connected to his home network, etc. Snowden's method IIRC was to acquire a laptop or phone without leaving any identifying marks (ownership information), then drive around until he found an open wireless network which he could log onto, then he'd use that network over tor to connect to the journalists he was talking to. However, nation-states with enough backdoors to all the servers serving as tor jumpboxes could likely deanonymize the remote user (it's assumed they'd be watching all traffic going to and from the known endpoint, which in Snowden's case was a journalist's email server). ![]() ![]() The content of the communication itself would not be readable due to strong encryption, but the metadata (source and destination headers) could reveal who was talking to who. When tor falls, the next question is "what do they see?" You have control over that.Īccording to various sources, such as Snowden's "Permanent Record", the tor network was designed to allow spies in remote locations to communicate securely with a known endpoint (such as CIA headquarters) without anyone being able to easily trace their exact location. You still have to take measures to separate your identity from the device, the behavior, and the location. government has significant interest in prosecuting, that device should be considered compromised and adversarial - you should act accordingly. If you're sitting in front of a computer that you're using for something the U.S. And even then, you're at risk of parallel construction. Your only safety net, it seems, is the value of other targets relative to you when it comes to them burning their "golden ticket" zero day. It's fairly safe to assume they have the ability to deanonymize you. ![]() If your adversary is a state actor, particularly the U.S., tor alone is not sufficient for anonymity. The FBI has also continued to run CSAM websites after takeover to collect intel, and likely run honeypots for other content. Recently this has started getting increasing levels of press exposure including in CSAM cases. I have second hand knowledge of lawsuits that have been dropped by the FBI during discovery because it would require them revealing zero days they have on Tor. ![]()

Free rapid covid testing san diego12/28/2023 ![]() Anyone who tests positive on a rapid test, which is sensitive but less accurate than a PCR test, is instructed to self-isolate to keep from spreading the virus and given a lab-processed PCR test to confirm the diagnosis. Photo: Mike Kemp/In Pictures via Getty ImagesĪs a result of the distribution of free tests, and a public information campaign showing citizens how to use the test kits, the British government reports that about 4 million rapid tests are now being done at home each week in England. But Reuters reports that the British government is paying about $5.80 each for similar test kits (which cost about $2 each to make) that it distributes for free.Ĭovid-19 rapid test kits, like a batch in a shopping area of Birmingham, England, in August, are distributed for free in the United Kingdom. In September, for instance, the Biden administration struck a deal with Walmart, Amazon and Kroger to sell Abbott’s tests at the discount price of $7 each for three months. ![]() ![]() government’s reticence to use emergency powers to get the testing kits made for less contrasts sharply with the situation in Europe, where more efficient government-run health care systems are the norm. Abbott Laboratories’ BinaxNOW kit, for instance, can be purchased by the government for $5 each but costs consumers $11.99 a test at CVS or Walgreens. But because the Biden administration has tried to work within the constraints of America’s profit-driven system, commercially available rapid tests are considerably more expensive for consumers and often hard to find in stores. government to use its leverage to press test-makers to sell the kits for between $1 and $5 each. What Psaki’s comments accidentally drew attention to is that even during a pandemic, Americans are still paying more for health care than their counterparts in countries with socialized medicine or single-payer systems.Įxperts like Mina and Nuzzo have urged the U.S. “Maybe at some point our FDA, CDC and administration will understand finally this is a PUBLIC HEALTH problem, and not a Medical problem to make $$ off of,” Mina tweeted. government should mail rapid tests to every American household, suggested that Psaki’s comments reveal that the administration is unwilling to take emergency measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic that might challenge the nation’s fundamentally for-profit health care system. population tested themselves every four days with at-home rapid kits that could cost the U.S. Chan School of Public Health, estimated more than a year ago that the spread of Covid-19 could be dramatically curtailed if just half of the U.S. Michael Mina, a physician who teaches at the Harvard T.H. “That this appears to be some quixotic idea to the administration is incredibly concerning and a reminder of why we have not been able to get control this pandemic here in the US.” “Give out rapid tests to every household? Yessss! Of course, we should!” Oni Blackstock, a doctor who once led New York City’s response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, chimed in on Twitter. “Other countries have figured out better ways to get these tools into the hands of their citizens. “Rapid tests are hard to get, expensive & could be a key intervention in fighting #COVID19,” Gregg Gonsalves, an associate professor of epidemiology at Yale Medical School, wrote in a tweet addressed to Psaki and Jeff Zients, the White House Covid-19 response coordinator. “Then what happens if you, if every American has one test? How much does that cost?” Psaki asked, suggesting that sending Americans tests to regularly screen themselves for the virus would be prohibitively expensive. “Should we just send one to every American?” Psaki shot back, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Why not just make ’em free and give ’em out, make them available everywhere?” “That’s kind of complicated, though,” Liasson said. We spent BILLIONS AND BILLIONS on vaccines that we would never consider charging for. Many are ridiculing this dismissive and out of touch take by on Covid tests.īut for me it’s the ‘how much does it cost’ part. had gotten some retailers to lower costs and would soon require private insurance companies to start reimbursing clients who buy rapid tests. In an oddly combative exchange with Mara Liasson of NPR, who asked why the United States chose not to emulate countries like the United Kingdom, which sends packs of seven free rapid tests to anyone who asks for them, the president’s spokesperson first suggested, wrongly, that the tests used in other countries might not work. Public health experts were appalled Monday to hear an idea that many of them consider vital - making at-home rapid antigen tests for Covid-19 free for all Americans - dismissed as ridiculous by President Joe Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki. ![]() |
